Nomegnome, I couldn't agree more with you. Silverado Green Fuel at $15/barrel oil energy equivalent looks awfully atttractive. Most of the American public are quite ignorant of this alternative form of energy or else they would be screaming at their politicians. Gold will certainly break thro' $1,000 due to the weak U.S. dollar & inflation. A big trucking firm executive recently said on a $1,000 order they add $250 due to high fuel costs - a good example of inflationary pressure & we are only seeing the start of this.
I spoke to a pig farmer last week who has 5,000 pigs & he said he was losing $30 -50/pig due to high feed costs of corn. Too much corn is being produced for ethanol which is being used for fuel - however ethanol,being an alcohol , is corrosive & presents major problems transporting it in pipelines. He didn't know how long he could stay in business! There simply is not enough farm acreage in the world to produce enough corn for both food & fuel!
