Message: Re: Possible Funding for Silverado Commercial Fuel Plant???

I've been to the site in Akerman, I even have pictures of the cleared lot with a few marking flags. I talked to an employee at the coal plant and he said it was the joke of the county (in so many words). Silverado news at that time said the test plant/school was awaiting permitting and that the $26 Million was forth coming, just after Dec of 2006. Next came the news that "China" was being courted to invest and that all deals were hush hush. Then came the news they were going to make a full production plant with private funds and would cost around $450 million. Hey, I have all the news releases on this one.

Things have gotten to the point with Silverado's Investor Relations and PR dept. that they won't even return my emails now. That 40 cents a share everyone talked about a few months back is still sinking. China? Where are they?

The board meeting set for the 16th of this month didn't happen either, just like the production report on how much gold was mined last year and how much actual production is going on right now. I find it hard to believe they are only drilling with investors money.

At one time, according to Mr. Dynes, share values were dropping because of short selling of SLGLF shares (naked short selling that is) and now that has been stopped and the shares are still going down. Don't get me wrong here, I understand the problem with shares going down in price with the market, I'm just saying That the IR and the PR departments are doing a lousy job of keeping investors interested and up to date with what's going on across the board.

There is also the plays by companies and the market makers to get people to get rid of their shares so they can buy them up. This is usually done by running the price so far down that investors bail out to save what's left of their once substantial investment.

For those who haven't been around these markets very much, just remember Silverado was once a $10 stock. If they were to lesson the number of outstanding shares thay have issued, and were able to step up production of it's ore products, they may well get back up to a dollar a share. Currently the only way to bring up share value is for a reverse split or a huge spike in the value of gold. It seems to me however that Silverado's share price goes up more on the fall in golds price than on the rise in golds price. Go figure.

I'm waiting to see the Green Fuel projects fate, production or phase out.
