Thanks for the post. I am in the communications industry and I can tell you that we have seen strong indications that the Chinese are spending money in that area as well.

Add this to the nice jump in volume today (last I checked it was over 12million vs the typical 2-5mil) and on an upward trend, it makes you wonder if the shorts are getting scared. Maybe this article spurred some panic.

Time of course will tell. If we continue to see the high volumes and the price continues to creep upwards, we could be at the start of the gold rush of '09.
