That's a little over the top for me. My goldpans, shovel and sluice go right on my back along with snuffer bottle, pry bar and hammer. Bring along some food and water (or whatever) and I'm set to go. A metal detector comes in handy especially for running over tailing piles. See what others missed. If it's not steep trip down to the river a cart of some sort is nice so you don't have to carry everything. Pack a few things in aa bucket or two like food, gloves, whatever you please. Going to need the buckets for cleaning out the sluice carpets and carrying your concentrates home. I like to do the final clean up of my cons at home.
