I was happy to buy more shares yesterday on the short seller's bear raid, the shorts are clearly worried about their massive short positions. Here is one of several reasons that stands outs from the companies recent Annual Report...
"... entered into five consulting agreements and amended two consulting agreements during 2009 with seven individuals for various corporate planning and business development services to the company.
The shorts launched a bear raid yesterday to panic new investors to sell their shares.
Personaly, I am not worried, its just a matter of time before the company lands financing; the shorts, on the other hand, are clearly runing out of time to play their bear raid games !!
Bear Raid:
"Attempting to push the price of a stock down by heavy selling or short selling."
a type of stock market strategy, where a trader (or group of traders) attempts to force down the price of a stock to cover a short position. This can be done by spreading negative rumors about the target firm, which puts downward pressure on the share price. This may be a form of securities fraud. Alternatively, traders could take on large short positions themselves, with the large volume of selling causing the price to fall, making the strategy self perpetuating
