Which Reality?

Production mining is not required for Silverado's assets to make shareholders money. If and when Silverado decides to production mine and has the finances and permits to do so, great. In the mean time, one step at a time, slow but sure.
Many posters’ fixation on permits being in hand now to production mine this year is based solely on:
*a statement in a cover letter in a year+ old annual report to shareholders essentially stating production mining may begin by Q409 and/or,
*optimistic (but not definitive) statements to that effect even from the company itself....
....is a simple fixation that is not necessary to see potential success for Silverado and shareholders.
Time will tell if the company is strategic and competent in its project execution plan, or otherwise fully incompetent and does not have company success in its own interest. The implication of the latter, is a serious implication, and in of itself, actually sounds ludicrous. But it has happened before (see Madoff).
The recent abandonment and threat to abandon the company by some here, to join the ranks of the nay-sayers and bashers, has actually (and unfortunately) brought me some level of solace, sad as it may be.
The pattern is simply amazing, and it is near proof to me of what can happen when one feels personally offended or 'lied' to. They join ranks, even if originally on opposite sides of the fence.
I posted on this aspect of Silverado bashers' commradary(sic?) on RB well over a year ago trying to explain to readers that you don't listen to the likes of World Net Daily reporting. (the report made some good points but largely was an intentional smear campaign). We all know now the type of situation that can develop with the press when they have it in for a person or company. See deepcapture.com.
Mixing up the complexity and shear nature of this business (a nature that demands rolling with the punches of successful and not so successful components of a project execution plan) with incompetence or criminality is mixing up aspects of a business that could cost you your investment. This is the mistake of many of the bashers that abandoned the company.
One should not abandon a company while things only appear to be bad, due to one's own, unwarranted and simply incorrect perceptions or understandings of reality.
It isn't personal. It’s really, really tough business, people make mistakes on the company side and on the shareholder side. Those that correct mistakes will be the winners.
