One could only hope that an SEC action would have such immediate affects. Pretty sure the reaction will be a slow one for companies that really are naked shorted and whether or not this action does anything at all for that matter. Loop holes still abound.

Good idea to watch those that show high FTD numbers, see how their volume is affected. My favorite FTD company to watch is Overstock.com, but FDTs there have virtually dried up since last November (10's of thousands of shares per day now, vs. high 100's of thousands and millions per day, years prior).
