It sounds like our US friends are really getting ripped off by some of the broker people. I have four different accounts with TD Waterhouse - Cdn., US., RRSP, and a new $5000 per. year maximum tax free trading account. I can trade both US and Canadian listed stocks on all of these accounts online for $9.99 regardless of sp or number of shares and they even gave me a bunch of free trades when they dinged me for excess US conversion fees one year. Other Canadian brokers are fairly similar with varying but still reasonable commission rates. Cooky, I guess we should not be too jealous of those $5.00 a trade type ads. being sent out by US brokers. I have not tried to trade a .E listed stock. It sounds like Silverado share holders are much better off staying Canadian, eh?
