I held shares in Nova Gold when Barricks launched a hostile take over bid. Barricks had to submit their offer by mail to all Nova Gold shareholders explaining why their offer is best that the shareholders will get for their investment. If you agree to the chump change they offer you for your shares, you must sign the form and mail it back to them. The Nova Gold shareholders thumbed their noses at barricks, if I remember correctly Barricks only got 18% of the Nova Gold shares
I believe that for a hostile take over to succeed, they have to recieve 50% or better of the shares signed over to them by shareholders agreeing to sell them their shares. I don't recall at this moment what the exact numbers had to be but the bottom line is this, the company launching the hostile take over would have to, by law, approach the Silverado shareholders in writting and they will feed you a line a mile long of nothing but smoke why their offer is the best you will ever get for your shares. I do remember that Barricks kept exstending their offer due date so they could keep spewing all their smoke but the Nova Gold shareholders saw throught it.
Bottom Line is this.... Silverado keeps proving that Solomons Shear is turning into something huge $$$ Remember, according to the NI 43-101 Tom Bundtzen reports, the drilling programs showed that these Gold-Antimony veins at Solomon Shear are still open to length and depth $$$ These veins could run miles deep into the earth like S. Africa?
can you say... $$ Ka-Ching Ka-Ching $$
