Over the years on these boards with various stocks, I have attended SHM's etc, and have gotten to know a few BOD members pretty well, on a social level, as many posters in here who have had contact with the Silverado Team.

I have also developed a business relationship of sorts, that I can occasionaly drop in and chat in general about current events. I never seek any information by asking questions that an IR contact cannot address, just keep it light.

The point is with public companies, getting to close to a BOD or better said, thinking that you have done so, and letting "friendship" emotions get in the way of whether to buy or sell, is a mistake IMO.

Focusing on making money by not allowing other things cloud one's judgment is the point of the quote.

I think it's great that many people in here know some of the SLGLF Team personally, and whatever they share is helpful to the rest of us.
