A Beautiful and Heartfelt Letter From Our President

From the President

At age nine, your president began collecting rocks. At seventeen and upon graduating high school, he began working in field explorations in west-central British Columbia with Kennecott Copper to earn money to attend university. He subsequently worked with Anaconda, then Amax and then graduated and started a service company to the mining industry.

In 1972, he cleaned up an old public company and placed his Nolan Creek property and Ester Dome property into it (at no cost to Silverado). He used contract profits from his private company, Tri-Con Mining Ltd., combined with some small public offerings (first one CND$20,000) to further work on Silverado’s projects.

Silverado has ended up with three premier gold prospects in Alaska, with 100 percent to near 100 percent ownership and with one on the verge of production (Nolan Creek) and two, which, but for the sake of some detailed drilling and feasibility studies, could be readied for production.

In 1972 he started Silverado (38 years ago) and now we look forward to reaping the rewards. Some of our best people have been with us over 30 years; and many of our 18,000 valued shareholders, as long.

We have fought through an exasperating stock market, tough competitors, and other obstacles that most successful companies have had to overcome.

I really believe, with all of my heart, that the shareholders of this company are, over the near term and years to come, going to be some of the best rewarded in the industry. In any event, that is my belief, and continues to be my pledge.

Thank you all for your faith and strong support and we trust you look forward as we do to the pouring of our first gold bar.

Respectfully,
Silverado Gold Mines Ltd

/s/ G. L. Anselmo
