Koala - your article could not have been better written IMHO- KUDOS! IMHO everyone who invests takes risks - that's life. For every decision we make we must accept full responsibility. Nobody is holding a gun to our heads. We don't have to jump this way or that way without making a personal commitment.
My gosh, when I look back & think of stocks like "Fruit of the Loom" or "Laidlaw" - both of which went bankrupt - I trusted a supposedly smart broker - I lost everything while he won. That was my unfortunate choice! Then there was Canada's darling & best stock of the year - Nortel Networks - wow, we all know what happened with that one!
Conclusion: Personally I cannot dwell on my decisions of the past - unfortunate yes, but
that's life. I do not dwell on them because itserves only to drain my energy
battery. I don't need the pain or the poison.
