I agree with you Ken, and my point to Jimmy is, let people know who the customer is in a polite way, and if that does not work, kick it up a notch and get the service you deserve.
When I am a customer, NO is not acceptable.
I am never disrespectful, but I get what I want, or a competitor would love my business.
Times are tough out there, and any company that does not get it...does not deserve my loyalty.
Too old for games....and that's it.
