The Ministry of Land and Resources (MLR) intends to complete the integration of rare earth resources by the end of 2010, reports Securities Times.
The progress of 78 major mining areas is currently being monitored by the MLR, which include 32 molybdenum mines, twelve fluorite mines, eight antimony mines, seven tin mines and seven rare earth mines.
Shares of Xiamen Tungsten (600549) rose 0.03 percent to close at 38.16 yuan on October 13.
China has the second largest molybdenum reserves in the world and currently has 222 proven molybdenum mines, with 30.1 percent of China\'s molybdenum reserves located in Henan Province.
