there is a shortage of experienced well seasoned geologist in the field today, most of the senior geologist have retired and few folks were interested in majoring in this field since the mining industry went thourgh the great depression when metal prices collapsed early 2000 and the exploration mining companies closed their doors for business so there was no new jobs for greenhorn geologists free out of college, so Tom Bundtzen has plenty of work to keep himself busy 24-7, I've already covered some of this history in one of my earlier posts.....
