The U.S. is really very close to 25% unemplyment according to John Williams. Consider also - 47 -50M people on food stamps. If the Fed close down & fail to raise the debt ceiling, then these people have no food. Great Fed gov't who have lead everyone down the road - to chaos so that they & their manipulative financial henchman can reap the benefits at the expense of hard working people.
