Smart man - we don't have a well but I bought a generator 2 - 3 yrs ago when the native Indians got restless about 25 - 30 miles away & knocked over a large hydro tower - had no power for 1-2 days -- everyone was panicking. Haven't had to use it yet but at least it's in the garage.
