Not only is wall street rotten, Congress votes on an energy bill tomarrow, if passed, will raise the cost of a gal. of gas $.77 due to a new gas tax. Global warming lobby to thank for this !!!!!! Most of the east coast and midwest have had one of the coolest month of June on record. Gas goes up it not only hits you & I in the pocketbook for transportation, but everything else goes up to, food, etc. as trucking costs will increase just as well, jet fuel for planes, agriculture & farmers, meat, fruit ,vegetables, and I guess the tax is supposed to affect our electric & nat. gas bills too by up to 40%. Now housing values are dropping, but property taxes are going UP, as municipalities are broke due to decrease in local income taxes, and in turn are laying-off police & fire personnel. Great !!!! Just about the time all hell is going to break loose. Start to look for more demonstrations and unruly behavior, possibly leading to riots. stock up on food, water, maybe 10-20 gallons of gas for the generator in case of power loss, and put maybe 3 months worth of cash aside in the event of a "bank holiday". I get several investment newsletters, and most concur that this coould be the summer of "hell", with market collapse by Oct-Nov. Put aside some gold & silver coins too if you can.
