My thoughts.

I came here this week in an effort to gain some information about this company, and stated that I did not intend to post unless I buy the stock. Fastfoot asked me a question, so I answered it, and I have yet to buy in, but thinking it over as I review financials, PR's, SEC filings etc.

Now I see Agora stepping in and taking action against two members....

Not sure what led up to this decision, having not read anything in here until Wed, but it must have been brewing for a while...I assume such anyway.

I am a HL on the EDIG board and have participated there since Sept-08. Prior to joining Agora, did the same on Money Central, Yahoo! going back nearly 10 years EDIG wise. Tried RB a few times recently but do not care for their forum. I posted as DISCHINO on Money Central, damiano_dischino on Yahoo!, DISCHINO on RB, and DISCHINO in here. I have never used any other names other than these, no other aliases ever, nor will I ever. I offer this as a quick intro as to who this 61 year old retired Man is.

Here is my point...the EDIG board was struggling to be civil for months. Personal comments prevailed between a few, and no matter what many tried to do, it became out of control. Agora issued warnings, deleted posts, banned a few users, warned the board again, and finally George stepped in and let the hammer down. Cooky posted his message in here, I assume as a hint that if things did not change, this board may face the same results. I learned of Cooky posting the message in here over on EDIG by another HL. Cooky has also posted on EDIG's on and off topic boards a few times of late, I assume to see what EDIG was about??

I found Agora by accident messing around in Google looking for more info on EDIG, such as Wall Street Journal articles, reviews by tech writers, just anything not released by EDIG itself.

I have found Agora to be the best and most professional forum and where I spend 95% of my posting and reading time. Their 6 rules, HL controls, prcessing of flagged posts etc, make for a better forum IMO.

I sure hope this forum can get back on it's feet, and posters offer info about the company, for interested parties to gain some knowledge. For me, it's about 20% or maybe more of DD before making a decision to buy/sell. I count on many others input before deciding, such as my Fidelity CFP, and some investor friends that I keep in touch with on a regular basis. My friends and I have a small informal investor group, where we share thoughts about our holdings and other plays we are thinking about. I have gotten a few of them to register with Agora, but they all choose to lurk at this time.

When a new name arrives on a board, some immediately assume they have an agenda, to hype, bash, disrupt to name a few. If you care, check my post history, and your will see I am none of the above.

I'll drop in now and then to read, so good luck to all in the mean time.
