I would also like to add that I heard yesterday from my friend who is a small shipping tycoon who told me that they are NOW in the process of preparing to barge 15 off shore oil drilling rigs to Alaska. He says that the oil companies are planing to drill far off the shores of N. Alaska; probable part of the race against Russia to claim potential unexplored oil reserves in the deep artic.
