China is number one in the world in population - 1 in every 5 people is Chinese - approaching 1.4 B this year - 1st in car production, 1st in rare earths, 1st in energy consumption, 1st in gold production (will be interesting to see how much their gold reserves increase from 1,054 metric tons at end of 2009) - have a comfortable cash reserve surplus - are gradually reducing their holdings of U.S. assets - are buying up energy producing companies throughout the world. In short they presently hold a lot of TRUMP cartds - question is how will they play them in 2011?
