Dr. Rui Feng obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geology in China and his Ph.D. Geology degree in Canada. He is a renowned expert with extensive experience in the evaluation and acquisition of mineral properties in China, and has an extensive network in China's mining and exploration industry. Dr. Feng is well-versed in China's legal framework related to the mining industry and has acquired numerous Chinese mining/exploration properties for Canadian public companies
Myles J. Gao, P.Geo.
Director, President & Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Myles Gao obtained his B.Sc. in geology from Lanzhou University, China, in 1982. Moving to Canada in 1989, he received his M.Sc. Degree in geology in 1993 from Laurentian University. Mr. Gao has worked for numerous Canadian mining and exploration companies in both Canada and China, focusing on gold and copper mining and exploration. He is based part-time in China, where he is also active in sourcing, assessing and acquiring mineral projects for the company.
Maria Tang, C.A, C.P.A
Interim Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Maria Tang earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Nankai University, China, holds both a CA and US CPA designation, and has five years audit experience, most recently with Ernst & Young LLP where she focused on public company audits with China operations and was in charge of SOX 404 audits for U.S. public companies.
Michael Hibbitts, B.Sc (Geology), B.Ed, P.Geo.
V.P. Operations
Mr. Michael Hibbitts is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s geology program. Mr. Hibbitts is based primarily in China, monitoring Silvercorp's exploration and mining activities to ensure high standards in order to satisfy regulatory requirements. Mr. Hibbitts is a professional geologist with 30 years experience in mining, mine geology and exploration. He has held senior positions at numerous public Canadian mining companies including New Gold Inc., Northgate Exploration Ltd., Royal Oak Mines, and Noranda Mines among others. He has a proven track record in exploration, mine development and production including experience with the narrow vein underground mining as conducted by Silvercorp. He was co- recipient of the 2002 B.C. and Yukon chamber of mines E. A. Scholts award for his work in the development of the Kemess Mine in Northern B.C.
Shaoyang Shen, MMPA, MBA, CMA
General Manager China Operations
Mr. Shaoyang Shen joined the company in January, 2008 as General Manager of China Operations. Based primarily in China, he is responsible for strengthening the internal control of financial aspects of operations in China. Mr. Shen has over 10 years of experience working in China and Canada. In 2004 he obtained his Master of Management and Professional Accounting (MMPA) degree from the University of Toronto, Canada. Most recently he worked in Toronto, Canada with the world's fifth largest accounting firm, Grant Thornton LLP. Mr. Shen has been a Certified Management Accountant (Canada) since 2004.
Lorne Waldman, MBA, LL.B.

Mr. Lorne Waldman earned a law degree and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia in 1993. He is responsible for regulatory and compliance affairs of the company, and managing investor relations duties. Mr. Waldman brings with him over ten years experience with Nam Tai Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: NTE), an electronics manufacturer with 100% of its manufacturing in China, where he held positions of in-house legal counsel, corporate secretary, and was responsible for investor relation functions.

Special Adviser to the Chairman and CEO
The Honourable Jack Austin, is a Special Adviser to the Chairman and CEO. Senator Austin brings to the Company over 40 years experience in law, business, public service and politics. A graduate of the University of British Columbia in Economics and Law and from Harvard Law School in International Trade Law, Mr. Austin served as Deputy Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources, Canada, and Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. After his elevation to the Senate, he served in the Canadian Cabinets of Prime Minister Trudeau and Prime Minister Paul Martin.
From 1993 to 2000, Mr. Austin served as President of the Canada China Business Council and from 2000 to 2003 as Deputy Chairman. He assisted in the building of a close relationship for Canada and China in commercial development. Silvercorp will benefit from Mr. Austin's counsel and extensive expertise in cross-cultural communications and business development in China.
Yikang Liu
Director
Mr. Yikang Liu is the Deputy General Secretary of the China Mining Association and the 35th & 36th Vice-Chairman of the Geological Society of China. Before he retired in 2001, Mr. Liu was the Chief Geologist for the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of China. While there, he made significant contributions to the amendment of the last China Mineral Resources Law. Mr. Liu, representing Chinese interests, is the person responsible for the establishment of the first Sino-foreign joint venture for mineral exploration in China. Mr. Liu has over 40 years of geological experience in managing, evaluating and exploring mineral projects for the Chinese government in China and in 17 countries around the world including Bolivia, Madagascar, the Philippines, Iran, and Peru. In a mentoring capacity, Mr. Liu is an Adjunct Professor of Geology at the Changchun College of Technology, Northeast University and the China University of Geoscience. Silvercorp will benefit from the counsel of Mr. Liu's expertise in mining development and exploration in China.
Earl Drake
Director
Mr. Earl Drake completed a post-graduate study in Canadian History at the University of Toronto. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Canada China Business Council and Project Director of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development and was previously the Ambassador of Canada to the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Indonesia. In the past 50 years, Mr. Drake was also the top Canadian representative in the governing councils of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris and the World Bank in Washington, DC. In addition, Mr. Drake has served in Ottawa as Assistant Deputy Minister for Asia-Pacific in the Foreign Affairs Department and as Vice President in the Canadian International Development Agency. As part of Mr. Drake's vision to transfer his knowledge to young Canadians, he is an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University in the Centre for International Communication. Silvercorp will benefit from the counsel of Mr. Drake's long experience in cross-cultural negotiation and communication to harmonize economic development goals with sustainable environmental policies and practices.
Paul Simpson

Mr. Paul Simpson is a Vancouver based corporate securities lawyer with the firm Armstrong Simpson. He has over 20 years experience, predominately advising public companies with international natural resource property holdings. He has been a director and officer of a number of public companies, including companies with resource assets in China.
Greg Hall
Director
Mr. Greg Hall is an experienced financial market professional with 24 years experience as a broker, senior executive officer and founder of a number of successful brokerage firms. He has also been extensively involved since 1984 in investments in China, including memberships on the boards of several private and public companies with China projects. Mr. Hall was one of the founding directors of Dragon Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Dr. Robert Gayton, C.A, Ph. D., Business
Director
Dr. Robert Gayton graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1962 with a Bachelor of Commerce and in 1964 earned the Chartered Accountant (C.A.) designation while at Peat Marwick Mitchell. Dr. Gayton joined the Faculty of Business Administration at UBC in 1965 beginning 10 years in the academic world, including time at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a Ph.D. in Business. Dr. Gayton rejoined Peat Marwick Mitchell in 1974 and became a partner in 1976, providing audit and consulting services to private and public company clients for 11 years. He has directed the accounting and financial matters of public companies in the resource and non-resource fields since 1987. He was Vice President of Finance with Western Silver Corporation from 1995 to 2004 and was a director of Western Silver Corporation (2004-2006), Bema Gold Corporation (2003-2007), Northern Orion Resources Inc. (2004-2007), and Doublestar Resources (2000 – 2007) each of which were "taken over". Mr. Gayton is currently a director of Nevsun Resources Ltd., Amerigo Resources Limited, Intrinsyc Software International, Inc., Palo Duro Energy Inc., B2Gold Corp., Quaterra Resources Inc., Western Copper Corp. and Eastern Platinum Limited.
