The word I get as of this afternoon, is that the hole is cleared of steel. They still have a problem with the last wedge and cemented it yesterday. They expect to drill it out on friday and be drilling by the weekend. They are right on the edge of the Balmer and hope to drill 500 m of it in this first hole, but the drilling is going to be very slow to avoid any screwups. This has cost them a full month in time but very little costin dollars. There is a news release being written up on South Bay and it should be out shortly Regards K
