Skyharbour Resources Ltd. is a uranium and precious metal exploration company actively involved with the development of projects in one of the most active uranium exploration regions in the world, the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan.
They did indeed have a small problem with the last plug and the setting of the wedge ..
A bag of plug material , It's size sightly smaller then of the drill hole,,, is lowered and placed at the desired depth.. The wedge is then later placed, breaking the plug bag and everything begins to set up and harden in place .
The drill rod. IMHO would have to be retrieved once again and a drill bit then attached. The drill rod would again all have to be reconnected and lowered to restart drilling..
A problem surfaced as the wedge was found to be not secure and probably not in the right position.. They figure that the bag of plug material actually broke and started to harden up before the wedge was could be lowered and placed it the correct position,,
Remedy is..... to stop drilling,, pull back .. and set another wedge a few meters up-hole.
This is no doubt what has taken place this week.
Conclusion..
By backing up the few meters we do not have to worry about that wedge.. it has been discarded.. and that problem.. is now solved
So this new wedge will actually be our 3rd wedge in this hole.
Keep on drilling..
