I think that if the numbers are low they may wait for the processing of the complete 500 tone sample.....
100T random selection from the 500 t sample could be squewed either way.....
We want to have .5ct/ tone+ min to be minable That would yield about 250 cts of diamonds overall.
If 50 of those cts are over 1 ct then we could see10cts of these statisticly..... in the 100t sample..... we have only 60% of this at SSRC..... so basicly a 60 tone equivelent, or 30 cts.
On the other hand we could get lucky and have a large stone or 2 roll out of the first batch and knock the socks off the disbelievers!
Before any mine is planed they usually take a 5000T sample to yield at least 3000cts to get an overall value and grade....
This first portion of the sample will be interesting, but it will in now way be a definative answer to Mud Lake being a mine or not.... Still very earily.....
A few large stones will get the stock moving and allow the company to raise funds at a higher level. I'd love to see SNO with a healthy budget to ramp up exploration over a much larger area.
So far, the diamond gods ( De Beers), indicators minerals and science is telling us the odds are relatively good.... Thats all we can ask for.
I also think the bashers must be optomistic as well...... otherwise they would not be trying to get investors to sell their share to them at these oportunistic prices....LOL
