Our local (Yellowknife) contributor has indicated that the ice road seemed ready for service.
Initial news release could be related to movement of the remaining 400 tons.
I see this as positive as I just can't find it within myself to believe that if the initial 100 "randomly selected" (as indicated by an earlier poster) tons were a dud that they would continue to invest money and time in the same sample area.
Diamond counts I would look for in the days closer to the P.D.A.C. At the end of the day they will need more money to bring this project to the level of full assessment for the purpose of eventual sale. Having positive news at the P.D.A.C. should facilitate that process.
Just my view.
Onward and Upward.
