Verrry . . . . funny/silly/sad/maddening.  It makes me go through all the emotions after losing a couple of years salary.

 They were so confident  there would be diamonds they set the seive at 1.4 mm.  It probably would have been fine for a 500 tonne sample, but in the small 2/3 of 100 tonne it wasn't.

If I was debeers, I would have done the same thing.  "If they can't get any diamonds out of 500 tonnes to get through, we're not interested."

 We still have the other 400 tonnes, and the portion sent to SA.  Maybe there are some good stones in there.  Trouble is, at this early stage, I think we want more information to characterize our kimbie.  At least all the original sample cut-off is at GP and SRC, so we can audit and figure it out. 

There is still hope.
