Hi Ak,

Thanks for the very informative post. You certainly are a great asset to this board.

Crushing progressively would be a good option, if it is proved to be necessary, so that larger stones will not be broken and also, we'll be sure to have liberated all stones, as you say. I believe that Hudson crushed to 4mm and still managed to get a 2.4 carat stone that was intact.

It would be nice to know what exactly is being done at the moment. I'll call the company next week and perhaps you might try too. I am confident that they have all the bases covered, but it would be nice to know a bit more information so that many of us can sleep a little easier!

I assume that they are drilling on-site now to get a better idea of the lumpiness of the kimberlite and to establish if there are any differences between the diamond content of each of the sills. If the site of the current bulk sample appears to not represent the body of the kimberlite, in terms of likely diamond content, then a second bulk sampling may be in order and well worth doing, in my opinion.

This play rests upon a knife edge right now. All SNO needs are a few large, high quality stones to be found and the stock will go through the roof. Or, conversely, if they still find few diamonds, it will wallow in the depths of the 52 week low for a while longer.

Good luck to all...peterjr
