Lots Coming Down the News Pipeline......

posted on Mar 29, 2008 06:53AM

We have a lot to look forward to over the coming weeks. This should spark a lot interest and answer some of the questions that have been discussed on this message board.

Over the longer term, I believe that we will start getting news related to additional kimberlites on the Ticho project, which will take Snowfield beyond having just the Mud Lake deposit to develop. If these kimberlites prove to hold diamonds (as indicated by the mineral trains), we should see the share price settle to a higher level and, of course, the potential value of the company will increase accordingly.

Investors in junior mining companies are attracted to companies that can keep the news pipeline full. Snowfield has a lot going for it in this respect. In addition to this, investors curently have a short-term opportunity to purchase shares while they are still very cheap compared to the potential upside. Recent low trading volumes indicate that the investment community knows this very well and, for the most part, shares are now being held tight.

Below is a list of the news that lies ahead in the short, medium and long term.

- Firstly, we will get the SRC results from the re-processing of the initial bulk sample material. This is likely to be released next week and will answer many of the questions concerning the effects of hematite and the crush size on the liberation of diamonds.

- Secondly, we will see the results of the initial bulk sample from De Beers in the next two weeks or so. With De Beers' likely commercial interest in Mud Lake, it will be interesting to see how these results are couched.

- There are now 13 cores waiting on-site to be shipped to a laboratory for caustic dissolution. The wait time for results is not known yet, but they will tell us a lot more about the Mud Lake kimberlite sill complex.

- A drill has been located to the Wire Claims to find out what is the origin of the magnetic anomaly under a small round lake on the property. Since we know that kimberlites are found in clusters, I suspect that the company may think that this could be a kimberlite pipe.

- Going further into the future, Snowfield is anxious to find the kimberlite that is known to exist close to the Mud Lake deposit. It is only a matter of time before the company finds this addition kimberlite body. When is found, it will provide investors with a great deal of upside potential over an above the Mud Lake deposit. Indicator minerals point to this kimberlite body being diamondiferous.

- A second bulk sample program is very likely to be organized for Mud Lake. The program will probably be developed using the information from the first bulk sample as well as the additional drill cores that are going for analysis next week. Whilst this will not yield results in the short term, it will give the share price a boost as work progresses and as the results draw close.
