154 KG TEST RESULTS

Snowfield Development Corp. (“Snowfield” or the “Company”) today announces the microdiamond results obtained from samples collected during the 2008 Mud Lake delineation drill program.

A total of 154 kg of kimberlite, representing intersections of both the upper and lower kimberlite sills from 26 drill holes was submitted for testing. The results, presented in the table below include the recovery of two macro diamonds, both of which are described as clear, colourless to white fragments, with measured dimensions 1.38 x 0.88 x 0.56 mm and 0.94 x 0.72 x 0.40 mm.

All samples were submitted to the Saskatchewan Research Council (“SRC”) accredited to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard by the Standards Council of Canada as a testing laboratory for diamond analysis using caustic fusion.

Geochemical analysis of the Mud Lake Kimberlite indicator mineral suite is being considered, to assess the overall diamond carrying capacity of the kimberlite, and whether there may be the potential to host a coarser diamond population. No other work is planned on the Mud Lake Kimberlite, given the low diamond counts in both the micro and macro diamond populations.

Exploration efforts are focused on discovering the source of the indicator mineral anomalies to the north of Mud Lake, and exploring the remainder of the property block for new kimberlite discoveries.

The first phase of till sampling has been completed, resulting in the collection of 53 till samples up-ice of the anomalous geochemistry to the north of Mud Lake. These samples were collected with the intent of further refining the source area for the indicator mineral dispersion leading to the north east.

Additional sampling and prospecting will be conducted over the entire property block in the upcoming weeks, targeting both topographic and geophysical features of interest.

The 2008 exploration program is under the supervision of consulting geologist Jennifer Burgess, P. Geol., a qualified person under NI 43-101 who has approved the technical content of this News Release (NR08-21).
