Poco, if there is one thing that will happen to junior exploraation stocks, it is a lot of volatility. You can't time markets. One of my best stocks is SGR and for three years it was a yoyo, but I continued to add and now it is holding value in one of the most volatile markets in recent history. Snowfield has had to step back and regroup after the bulk sample, but they are doing aa lot of geological mapping and sampling which will soon be good news and the share price will regain some of it's lustre. Read about the Victor mine that DeBeers was ready to abandon and is now in the building a mine stage. Finding diamonds in economic quantities is difficult and the term " It's not rocket science" does not apply because it is worse. This company has managed to progress a long ways with very little. The biggest mistake was going away from private placements to raise money. Mineral Fields jumped ship before the women and children. If the placement had been bought by private investors there would have been funds in the kitty still. Stick with it and you will prosper. Indicator mineral are called indicator minerals for one reason. Just not as easy as DeBeers made it seem, but maybe they have an ulterior motive!
