I never get too excited about any single issue in my portfolio. When I look at the entire group, most have appreciated considerably since March and seem to be chugging right along. I did the old "average down" on a couple of them and so far that has worked out.
Over the years I have had a few that go "right into the dumper" and that is the price of playing the extreme risk, venture capital markets.
I would think that in this case the company is going to have to make some form of public release regarding any recent efforts they have made on the diamond property. I am unable to give much credence to sources on other forums who claim to obtain a wide range of seemingly privileged information simply by phoning the office.
In times past there have been board participants who indicated they were perhaps "overweight" Snowfield and at times like these I find myself more concerned for someone in that position than I am for myself.
