It won't allow me to copy and cut and paste it here but the first report is important to read as it sets out the Receiver's job and why the Receiver was called in. Maersk/Sinopec the operator/owner of the Kan Tan IV when contacted by the Reveiver with the Attorney's for CSEI and BG present in the receiver's office had a discussion and Maersk/Sinopec informed the Receiver that they were about to stop providing their services as they had not been paid. BG's attorney stated that BG would loan the receiver $47 million out of which expenses could be paid so that Maersk/Sinopec and the 78 other suppliers can be paid to complete the Endeavour drilling/testing. Secunda Marine who also supply the rig tender which is on standby during all rig operations were also about to withdraw their services until the Receiver assured them that they would continue to be paid.
