I too find it hard that this Co. is not more closely watched.....I live close by and have watched the activity and stock for a year now. The area is full of lore. Old prospectors said that in the area there had to be major deposits due to the large amounts of placer in the immediate area. I do not know if this is the same as the "Quesnel Trench" theory.

What I do know is that the needed infrasturcture is either there or very near by. The town of Likely is a beautiful spot at the end of Quesnel Lake and is few minutes drive by car to the site. Rail access and major highways are a couple of hours drive away. With the mountain pine beetle disaster our goverments are very keen to see projects like this advance.

When you think of this project DO NOT THINK OF GALORE CREEK!!!!!
