I was considering selling SPKL because their product, although very good, is a bit pricey. There's one near Dulles Airport and I've been there recently and was reminded just how pricey they are. I paid just under $10 for a panini, small bag of chips, and a coke. It should have been more like $7-7.50 in my opinion. I thought the high price could slow their growth as a company in such a tight economy.
As for the market ups and downs, I think that's in large part the result of no really big news. If either SPKL or UFFC were to become profitable - which I think will happen eventually - we'd see a nice uptick in the PPS and that PPS would become more stable.
