Everything you say is correct except at some point you have to accept he could have done a better job of selling it to the Shareholders.
The sale of shares just before the R/S, N/R. Just a few shares some people have said but just the same it was louder than any words that were spoken.
Then the appearance of having the 43-101 on his desk when he called for the R/S.
These two items I believe cost him the vote.
Whether they are factual or not they gave the wrong impression to many shareholders.
It is often how things appear as much as it is the substance of the matter that counts in the end.
A big mistake in my opinion.
