Stans Energy Corp. Announces Results of Kutessay II Re-sampling Program

Toronto, Ontario CANADA, December 14, 2010 /FSC/ - Stans Energy Corp. (TSX - VX: RUU), has received the final results and statistical interpretation of its Kutessay II re-sampling program. A total of 170 samples were taken from adit No. 28, at an elevation of 2293 m. Each sample consisted of 1.5 m (length occasionally varied depending on the host rock) X 0.05 m X 0.03 m sections. The samples were analyzed for rare earth content to directly compare Soviet historical prime data taken from the same adit. The following table summarizes the results of the new samples versus the old:

The certified, independent labs, Information Research Centre LLC and the Central Scientific Research Lab of Karabalta Mining Works (CSRL), utilized modern methods of X-ray fluorescence and ICP analysis to confirm the historical Soviet methods of assaying, and although significantly varying in certain sections, the results statistically correlate with each other.

Of note, the re-sampling program identified a 15 m high-grade zone of Quartz-Chlorite Metasomatite across the re-sampling interval of 58-73 m. The averaging grade of the TREO was measured at 1.09 %, which had been previously identified at a grade of 0.59.

A detailed review of the full statistical interpretation of the report (translated from Russian to English), along with a map of the sample locations within adit No. 28 will be posted on Stans Energy's website: www.stansenergy.com/projects/kutessay-ii/.
