Message: Star Navigation Announces Corporate Update

Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. (SNA: CSE) ("Star" or the "Company") provides a comprehensive update on its robust sales initiatives aimed at advancing aviation technology and delivering superior shareholder value.

In the face of global market pressures impacting the company's share price in recent weeks, Star emphasizes the disparity between the corporate and marketing progress achieved and the market's valuation. The foundation laid out earlier this year, focusing on sales and marketing, is bearing fruit, albeit gradually. The aviation sector often features lengthy sales cycles influenced by several factors, making it a challenging terrain. Nevertheless, Star is resolutely upgrading its products, venturing into new markets, and progressing with previously announced Letters of Intent (LOIs) and sales leads.

One significant milestone is the progress made with the LAPSSET project. Despite setbacks stemming from government funding delays, the Government of Kenya has recently secured international funding to revive the project. Star's management and sales team are in discussions with the LAPSSET project, aiming to integrate Star's Land and Marine Tracking solutions.

The LAPSSET Corridor's CEO, Stephen Ikua, expressed appreciation for Star's commitment to making transport systems efficient, safe, and seamless. The renewed funding reflects the value proposition of Star's technology in Kenya's transport, infrastructure, and development sector.

Furthermore, Star is keenly pursuing opportunities in Africa, specifically in Nigeria and Kenya, issuing proposals to airlines and governmental agencies for market expansion and diversification. The company is already engaged with several key entities:

  1. Aero Contractors: Star's LOI with Aero Contractors is progressing, with sales agents in Lagos, Nigeria, working to convert it into a firm purchase order contract.
  2. Air Peace: Nigeria's Air Peace has requested a proposal from Star for the installation of the Star-ISMS® for their fleet.
  3. Astral Aviation: A sale for seven aircraft was announced in June 2022. The project is advancing, contributing to revenue streams.
  4. Ethiopian Airlines: Star has submitted a proposal to Ethiopian Airlines to evaluate data transmission, inflight analysis, post-flight tracking, and proactive maintenance capabilities.
  5. Nigerian Air Force: Star is engaged in discussions to modernize the military with its hardware and software products.

Star's outreach extends to the Middle East. The company is continuing discussions with AlAtheer and other operators. The ongoing development of customizable data analytics features positions Star favorably to secure sales contracts with additional airlines.

In Saudi Arabia, Star is enhancing aviation operations through its VVIP A310 aircraft. AlMasria Airlines in Cairo, Egypt, is looking to upgrade its systems, further solidifying Star's presence in the region.

Despite market challenges, Star Navigation Systems remains committed to advancing aviation technology, safety, and profitability.
