The Company has three main projects: a PGE project in Montana's Stillwater District; a copper project in California's historic Moonlight Copper Mining District; and a nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE project in Ferguson Lake, Nunavut.
funtimes40, I believe that there is. If you look at the little geophysics that they have on their website you will see a flow from the SW to the NE. http://www.starfieldres.com/site_ima... I think this must mean that all of this rock came from the same spot, I think they believe that it is coming from the SW area. I know old management was hoping to find the feeder zone as they believed that the feeder zone would have great grades, much like Voisey. But they have not found this zone as of yet and it could be quite deep if they ever do find it. Everyone agrees that these zones are somehow connected.
The geophysics that they do show is minimal and for that I have always been critical of management and especially Douchane as I am sure it is his call what goes on the website and what doesn't. All I do know is that this management lacks the same thing as old management and that is how to give the market information. Both management styles leave a lot to be admired, neither group know how to deal with investors and keeping them up to date properly and on a timely basis. I was hoping that with new PR groups involved that they would be able tot talk some sense into management and give the market all that they can handle. This is what good companies do and it has always helped the share price. Both old and new management run this company like it is a major who doesn't rely on timely news and information. Wake up guys this is not a major, nor do majors trade at 9 cents!! This has certainly hurt the stock , not as much as the financial crises but I bet if they were to have given us information back before this mess we would be sitting in the 50-75 cent range and not in the 11 cent range! It would have been much easier to swallow a financing at 75 cents rather than one that will most likely be in the 20 cent range.
One thing this financial crises has given us.........a good excuse by managements of companies to blame their woes on! You see it everywhere now, car companies all the way down to Starfield. This financial crises has hurt everyone but better run companies have not seen the huge loses that most have suffered. Management believes that this is the largest untapped mineral resource in the world, if this is true, why do they not want to shout it from the building tops?? What is their reasons. I can understand with the markets the way they are right now but the prior two years, why not create some excitement over this stock? Also, would this not be a good time for Seymour to double, triple, quadruple his holdings? Maybe his buddies should be thinking this is a good time to be buying?
As you can see, I am a firm believer that this property has the goods, but, at the same time my thoughts about management are not as positive. I believe that they have held back too many times and in the long run this has hurt us quite a bit.
