I agree that they should be pushing this end of things like never before. Mining is a dirty business, we all know that, but this system that they have developed produces NO toxic residue, no heavy metals, no left over acid, etc.

I watched a special on CNN last night that dealt with mining and how this one company in Peru has poisoned not only their workers but the thousands of people that live around the mine site. They have very high levels of lead, arsenic and more in their blood systems. Young people are dying of cancer, people are not healthy and the mortality rate is very high. How companies can get away with this is not only absurd but the owners of that company should be held criminally responsible. The owner of that mine is out of New York I believe and is worth 6 billion dollars, I wonder how he sleeps at night knowing he is slowly killing thousands of people. He owns one of the largest estates in all of America, this guy should pay IMO and be put behind bars as he is the one responsible for this poisoning.
