Mr. Weissenbaeck of SMS Siemag presented a paper called "Hydrothermal Acid Regeneration: A Cost Effective Way to Regenerate Waste Pickle Liquors and produce High Quality Ferric Oxides".

The presentation was largely tailored for the needs of the steel industry. However he showed some slides on iron control in chloride-based nickel and cobalt production and said, they are intensively working on that with partners from the primary sector.
