Candidates to join the S&P/TSX composite

Market Call, Lake Shore Gold Corp., Celtic Exploration, S&P/TSX Composite, Cott Corp., Semafo Inc., Ventana Gold Corp., Brookfield Renewable Power Fund, Cardiome Pharma Corp., Rubicon Minerals Corp., Centerra Gold Inc.
The S&P/TSX composite index is expected to increase in member size when the latest round of rebalancing takes place later this month, says Derek Euale, CIBC World Markets analyst.
Based on market prices and trading statistics as of the close of trading on November 17th, Mr. Euale indicates that Cott Corp., Brookfield Renewable Power Fund, Centerra Gold Inc., Celtic Exploration Ltd., Lake Shore Gold Corp., Rubicon Minerals Corp., Semafo Inc., and Ventana Gold Corp. are probable additions while Cardiome Pharma Corp. is the only expected deletion at the moment.
Additions and deletions for the next S&P/TSX Quarterly Rebalance should be announced on Friday December 11th, and will become effective on Friday, December 18, 2009.
