Good Morning:

Two Worthwhile Reads

Over the past few weeks I have added about 30 more 'articles sources' to the 100 I was reviewing in November. Each day I now review the headlines of well over 1,000 articles/commentaries from about 130 sources. The ones I consider the most topical and and important are then posted to 'Today's Filtered News' found on the left side of Home Page.

In part I spend the hour or so early each morning it takes me to select articles because:

· while you may not agree with all my selections and think (likely correctly) that my filtering system misses some important articles, by my 'article filtering' I am attempting to make your daily article intake more efficient, and your life a little easier than it otherwise would be;

· I believe in developing 'trust relationships' based on independence and objectivity. Hence, as the StockResearchPortal.com community grows (over 11,500 people from 130 countries have subscribed since we introduced the website to the Internet 23 months ago) I am careful not to let my own beliefs influence or bias my article selection process. For example, while I strongly believe in owning physical gold as a 'safe haven' investment, you frequently will see articles that express the view that physical gold is a 'poor investment'; and,

· as you likely have figured out from prior e-mails, I am a great believer in investors working toward 'personal investment empowerment' - that is, learning and researching what they need to, to take more control of their own investments while relying less on Analysts and Investment Advisors - and that I believe no one should invest in the markets without having their own developed view of prospective U.S. and world economics, the subject matter of many of the articles I select each morning.

Yesterday I identified two articles I think are particularly worth you taking the time to read:

· the first, a brief article titled 'So, How Do You Thnk This Movie Will End' written by Henry Blodget, CEO and Editor-In Chief of target="_blank">clicking here; and

· the second, a 'meaty article' titled 'We Are So Screwed' written by John Mauldin CEO of target="_blank">clicking here. I further recommend you then reflect on it as excellent 'food for thought' as you go about your daily life - and in particular think about and research your equity investments.
