Physical gold - alternative option to holding

Questions about holding physical gold raised during Peter/George’s show. See the link below whereby Sprott recently opened a gold ETF (US and soon in Canada) where it will hold the gold in Canada and can be redeemed by shareholders if they want. Might be an option for folks.
