I have known Van Eeden for 2-3 years. First got to hear him speak at Vancouver gold conference 3 years ago.
Quite an charismatic speaker, seemingly logically but more often wrong than right.
He was totally against silver when I heard him. He had all the logic and so called "fundamentals" to support his arguments.
I went ahead and bought tons of SLW at <$3.00 anyway! Today the price is around $16.
To me the bear outlook for China is wrong. I was bearish on China 6 years ago for the same reasons and have been proven wrong!
Yes, it may be a bit frothy now but they are underlying factors that will surprise the likes of Jim Chanos, Paul van Eeden who are very bearish on China. It is based on a western view that China is a communist country and they do not report their statistics correctly.
