Sorry Ryan, I cannot properly answer that. I only trade based on my read of the technicals. Because of that, every single day of trading has the potential to change my view of any given stock. So six months to a year on any stock is just impossible for me to call.
I take a top down approach. I like to play when the market is healthy and then look for strong sectors. Within a strong sector, I look for certain technical setups, such as a strong volume breakout of a long base. A stock that does that can run a long way as long as the sector stays strong.
Right now, the market is very strong, but I think it will drop during the summer, so I'm not looking to buy. Rather, I'm selling into strength - currently 15% cash and rising. I want to have some dry powder for the fall, when we could have a nice rally.
