I found this on the web. I have been watching XRC on this list lately. It has fallen from around $9 to $6.50 in one week. It could have something to do with the company spinning into two seperate companies, I am not sure. Anyone else have any thoughts.
Canaccord Adams Junior Mining Weekly team has compiled a list of who could be next to become prey in the gold sector. In alphabetical order, they are:
- Andina Minerals (ADM) also in Maricunga, Chile.
- Avion Gold (AVR) Ramping production and excellent exploration potential in neighbourhood (Mali) updated by aggressive majors.
- Colossus Minerals (CSI) High-grade in Brazil.
- Exeter Resources (XRC) 30+ million oz AuEq in Maricunga. Goldcorp (G), Kinross (K) and Barrick (ABX) - three large players in the district.
- Grayd Resources (GYD) 750k oz Mexico, next to Alamos Gold’s (AGI) Mulatos mine.
- Greystar Resources (GSL) Largest, most-advanced undeveloped gold project in Colombia.
- International Tower Hill (ITH), 12+ million oz gold in Alaska: Kinross (K), AngloGold (AU) have an interest in the area.
- Keegan Resources (KGN) West African resource growth. Red Back (RBI), Randgold (GOLD), IAMGOLD (IMG) all in area.
- Rainy River (RR), 5 million oz gold in NW Ontario.
- Timmins Gold (TMM) Junior gold producer in Mexico. Potential tag-on acquisition.
