Just read that - I think Peter had no alternative. There's no way he could stay involved with Agoracom as long as the OSC was investigating this. George essentially admitted to "seeding" the hubs. As I see it, the main difference between the allegations and what George admitted to, is one of content, e.g., was it pumping, etc. I understand how difficult it is to start a business like this from scratch, and that it would be rather embarrasing to have client-based hubs without posts. However, it does put a lot of posts in doubt.

Regarding the Synergy hub, it doesn't fit the profile of the kind of hubs that are the basis of the allegations. We started this after the time frame of the allegations, it is not a company specific hub, and it clearly is not a pump and dump forum. There would be no reason for Agoracom employees to post here. This is all very unfortunate, but I say we carry on, business as usual. If eventually, the site comes crashing down on us - well, it's been a good run......
