Jim Rickards was on tout TV this morning where they had several talking about Goldman. One guy didn't seem to think it was any big deal. Then Rickards got on and with his experience quickly dispelled that notion saying the biggest challenge they now faced was reputational which would be worse than all the lawsuits that will certainly now follow this charge. He said the fact that GS is addressing things in the media now that they aren't accused of is evidence that even they think they are in trouble. The underlying charge relates to a failure to disclose. Bottom line he thinks GS could be in trouble (even though the talking heads seemed to dispute that notion.)
