I picked up the following off the Yahoo board - thought others might find it of interest:
"On the conference call, I thought Barker was somewhat vague about the drilling problems at Carlin. We all knew that the wedge hole off CAR-007 had to be abandoned, but there was still some ambiguity about how drilling was going right now, so I sent them an e-mail. In reply, they stated that drilling on CAR-008 has gone very well. It was only in drilling the wedge hole, which I assume was technically more diificult, that there were problems.
It was also mentioned that they will soon be drilling CAR-009. "
